Tabarka (governorate of Jendouba) is a low industrialized region, which has kept an intact, rich and diversified nature and which has all the necessary assets to be an ecotourism terminal
Investment Development Jendouba 2050 (IDJ 2050), an association politically neutral and open to the skills of the governorate of Jendouba, has carried out (2017-2018) the preliminary studies for the development of an urban and tourist megaproject “Costa Coralis” that will profoundly transform the agglomeration and the region
The project has received (2018) the support of the civil society (national organizations) of Jendouba
In partnership with the Regional Council of Jendouba, IDJ 2050 was at the origin (end of 2018) of the creation of HDI the project development company
“Costa Coralis” project has been classified (June 2019) as a Project of National Interest (PIN) by the Superior Council of Investment (the highest investment authority in the country)
Detailed feasibility studies were conducted by the international consulting firm Deloitte between July 2020 and September 2021
